New Year!

Happy New Year, guys! Yes, I know it’s past, but still. Again, sorry for not posting in a while. Super busy with New Year and dancing. You guys have any New Year resolutions? I still haven’t thought of any. There’ve been so many good movies that came out during the holiday season. I was so excited, I finally got to see Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them! It was so good, and the visual effects were amazing. If you haven’t seen it, go see it! I’m actually going to see it again this weekend. Last weekend, I took the 16 Personalities Test. It was extremely fascinating and neat to learn about my personality, a Defender. I will leave the link under the post. You can also have your results emailed to you, or just read them and forget about them.

Until next time,

JP

Happy Holidays!

Hey guys!

Sorry it’s been a while since my last post. Been really busy dancing and getting ready for Christmas. We’ve got the tree decorated, presents, and music going, I think we’re all ready! There are a few traditions we have. We go to one of my uncle’s houses for Christmas Eve dinner and then exchange gifts. We are allowed to open these gifts once we have them. We also go to a live Nativity in our neighborhood and get together with friends. It’s so much fun to see them and hang out.

What are some of your Xmas traditions? Leave a comment telling me about it (or them)

Merry Xmas and Happy Holidays, everyone!

Until then,

JP

“Night and Fog”

Hey again guys,

Just streamed a movie called “Night and Fog.” You might have heard of it. It’s a pretty intense movie about the Holocaust. It’s a documentary made in 1955 with some footage from the ’40’s. If you haven’t seen it or have seen it with the voiceover, try watching it with just music. It’s about the only way to stream it actually, with just music. It’s very intense and emotional, but extremely eye-opening. I would recommend this movie if you are okay with a few graphic images and are over at least 16.

Do you any of you guys know anyone who was in the Holocaust?

Also, please leave a comment on what you’d like to here from me next. I know I’ve talked about heavy topics here, but let me know about any good news at either jpblog43@gmail.com or in a comment and I can talk about in my next post.

Until then,

Jacosa Kato

Hey guys. Sad news today; my friend and co-worker Jacosa Kato died on November 24. I just found out tonight. If you could please keep her and her family in prayers, I would greatly appreciate it. She was an amazing person and mentor. I learned so much from her. Hopefully I will have good news next time I write. Until then,

Harry Potter Facts

Hey all my fellow HP fans! Just watched some videos on YouTube about the Malfoy family (not including Bellatrix). Apparently, none of the Malfoys, including Lucius, truly agreed with Voldemort. Lucius agreed with Voldemort in that pueblood wizards are superior to Muggles and Muggle-borns, but did not necessarily agree with Voldemort himself. Also, Narcissa loved her sister Bellatrix, but hated her violent tendencies. Draco was raised to believe he was more privileged  than anyone not pureblood, but after everything that happened after he became a Death Eater, realized he didn’t and never had really believed that purebloods were really superior.

This was found in videos by Harry Potter Folklore on YouTube. No copyright infringement intended. If you would like to learn more interesting wizarding facts, see Harry Potter Folklore on YouTube.

What House are you in? Gryfindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, or Slytherin? Or a mix?  Leave a comment down below on which House you’re in or which House you think is best.

First Blog!

Hey again guys,

I’m so excited to be getting started! Anyway, some stuff about me. I’m a dancer, in my studio’s company. It’s a kind of small dance studio in Georgia. I also love art, drawing, painting, you name it! I’m also a fan of the outdoors, and taking pics with my dog, a Bichon Frise named Bella. What about you?
